First time at YFA?

We understand that visiting a church is not always easy. Whether you haven't been to church in a long time, been at a different church, or have never been to church before, we hope to give you an idea of some things you can expect at YFA.

Our LIFE Host Team

When you arrive, you may enter the doors on the south or west side of the building and come into our Grand Entry. There you will be welcomed by our LIFE Hosts. They will probably shake your hand, offer you a smile, and welcome you. They are here to serve you so make sure you ask any questions you may have. They will make sure you know where the sanctuary is located. If you have children or babies, they will make sure you are escorted to the Jr. Church room or the nursery.

Our Worship LIFE

Our “Worship LIFE”

Yuma First Assembly’s desire is to…

exalt God, radiate Jesus, and yield to the Holy Ghost.

*Sincere declaration of love for God is encouraged. Openly audible expression or quiet prayer will occur.

*Combined corporate praise and petition provide opportunity for personal communication with God.

*Singing is a significant part of worship. Participation in a  joyous musical affirmation is customary. An awareness of God that necessitates a glorious anthem or a reflective song is possible.

*People will place offerings on the Communion table at the front of the sanctuary. This gives worshipers opportunity to “bring their gifts to the Lord”. An announced offering will usually not occur. A contribution location is above the “Prayer Connection” in the back between the doors.
