Welcome!

Take a look around so you know what to expect during your visit.

We understand that visiting a church is not always easy. Whether you haven't been to church in a long time, been at a different church, or have never been to church before, we hope to give you an idea of some things you can expect at YFA.

Once you get to the Church

There is Guest Parking near the front door that is available just for you!

When you walk through the main doors you can expect to be greeted by one of our LIFE Hosts. They will probably shake your hand, offer you a smile, and welcome you. You can expect your Host to give you a connection card to complete and answer any questions you may have. If you have children, they will make sure you are escorted to correct place.

The Sanctuary is straight ahead; Restrooms are on the left side. Depending on the time you arrive, you may see people visiting at tables in the lobby. Often they will be enjoying coffee or sweet treat before service.

Feel free to visit or head into the sanctuary and find a seat.

Your children, ages 0-12, get to encounter Jesus in a safe and fun environment that is just for them.

Get your kiddos aged 0-4checked into the Nursery before service. Be sure to give our team your phone number in case of emergency or the need for you to change your child’s diaper if they are not yet potty trained.

Kids ages 5-12 worship with their parents and are dismissed to Jr. Church partway through the worship service. There the Jr. Church volunteers lead games, activities, and bible studies that are centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Worship LIFE

Yuma First Assembly’s desire is to exalt God, radiate Jesus,

and yield to the Holy Ghost.

Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30am and lasts about 90 to 100 minutes. The service starts with praise, an announcements break at which point children are released to Jr. Church, worship, prayer, and preaching, usually, though not always, in that order.

Our goal during the Sunday Service is to give ample opportunity for individuals to have personal communication with God. This occurs as we sing His praises and worship Him through music. Feel free to sing out and enjoy expressing your Love of God. Communication with God also happens during prayer; both openly audible and quiet prayers are encouraged in the house of the Lord.

We are are Pentecostal Church, so you may hear people around you praying in the Spirit. This may be new to you, but know that we will never single you out, or embarrass you in any way. We want you to feel comfortable enough to connect with the personal hope and practical help that God offers all of us.
